CLOSING POST                                                                             Through my research I have developed a good understanding of the crime-drama genre and the TV industry. I think that my audio visual piece displays a large range of camerawork and editing techniques which makes it look like a fun and unique style of TV show that would interest and be enjoyed by a young millennial audience. THEORY                                                                                             My audio visual piece will fit into Todorov's narrative theory because it features a key turning point in  which would act as the disruption within the episode. Another theorist whose ideas fit with my work is  Steve Neal, his theory that genre is dominated by repetition will be enforced by the characters in the show committing a crime, making it fit into the crime drama genre. Hall suggested that there are 3 ways an audience can intemperate text: through the preferred reading, negotiated reading and oppositional reading.
