CLOSING POST
Through my research I have developed a good understanding of the crime-drama genre and the TV industry. I think that my audio visual piece displays a large range of camerawork and editing techniques which makes it look like a fun and unique style of TV show that would interest and be enjoyed by a young millennial audience. Originally I had problems with filming in the dark because the action was hard to see, however, when I re-filmed I had crew members hold up an iPhone torch which solved the problem.
I am very proud of the front cover I have produced because I think that it looks like a real magazine cover, I have used a range of font text to interest the target market and a restricted colour palette to make it eye-catching. The double page spread looks professional, I really like the effect created by filling a whole page with one image and adding the title and introduction is small text onto of it. I think the layout it unique enough to look interesting but also simple enough that it is easy to navigate and read, I like the use of a pull quote to draw the readers attention and promote the show as well as the fact that it is in pink font which enforces the colour scheme. The use of fun, less professional images of my 'actress' portrays her and fun and likeable which would appeal to the reader and promote the show she is in. All the images in my magazine have the model's face located in the (top/centre) middle third of the frame so that the attention is drawn towards her, this is especially important on the front cover as she is the selling point.
