From this research I can conclude that the BBC broadcasts some of the most popular British, crime dramas, I can also sate that ITV broadcast more crime dramas than channel 5, therefore it would be wise to aim my product at ITV instead on channel 5 since its is more likely to be shown on that network.

THEORY                                                                                             My audio visual piece will fit into Todorov's narrative theory because it features a key turning point in  which would act as the disruption within the episode. Another theorist whose ideas fit with my work is  Steve Neal, his theory that genre is dominated by repetition will be enforced by the characters in the show committing a crime, making it fit into the crime drama genre.
